Description

You will lead and mentor a team of engineers to build scalable backend services for data processing, discovery, and lineage, handling petabytes of data for ML and autonomy engineering teams at Motional.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience as a data engineer or data pipeline engineer
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• Strong development experience with Python and SQL
• Expertise with AWS services (EKS, Lambda, ETL)
• Experience with distributed system design and development

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers technically and professionally
• Manage team timelines, project commitments, and roadmap deliverables
• Build scalable backend services for data discovery and data lineage
• Write high quality, maintainable code to process petabytes of data
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data processing with cloud ETL technology
