💼 About This Role

You'll make risk assessment decisions on applications for our Home Equity Investment product, a modern alternative to traditional financing. You'll analyze risk factors and partner with the Processing team and homeowners to bring files to closing. This role offers the chance to own your pipeline from initial review through final approval.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own pipeline from initial review through final approval
• Review and analyze credit reports, title reports, appraisals, and loan modifications
• Ensure title is free of restrictions and identify conditions to cure title issues
• Monitor and approve all conditions are met prior to funding

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years underwriting residential real estate or home equity products
• Deep experience reviewing credit reports, title reports, appraisal reports, and mortgage statements
• Strong title curative knowledge to resolve liens and encumbrances
• Solid understanding of loan modifications and their impact on lien position

✨ Nice to Have

• Trust review experience with familiarity in trust vesting and trustee authority
• Experience with loan processing systems or robust CRM systems like Salesforce
• Ability to work until 6pm PST
