Description

You will lead fire protection engineering projects, including code consulting, sprinkler and fire alarm design, and performance-based fire engineering for local, national, and international projects. You will manage financial and project aspects, build client relationships, and mentor colleagues.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in code consulting, fire suppression/alarm design, and performance-based design
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Fire Protection preferred) or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred
• Ability to present clear fire protection engineering strategies
• Ability to work independently and interact with industry professionals

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and project aspects for fire protection engineering design and consulting projects
• Build client relationships by meeting needs, completing tasks on schedule, and maintaining budgetary obligations
• Coordinate building and fire code reviews, plan reviews, and site visits
• Develop fire protection strategies, performance-based designs, and alternative solutions
• Mentor colleagues and assist with business development activities
