Description

As a Platform Support Engineer at Braze, you will be the first line of defense in ensuring platform health and availability. You'll actively monitor system performance, respond to alerts, and execute runbooks to address operational issues, working with a global triage team to maintain uptime and reliability.

Requirements

• 1-3 years in technical operations or cloud engineering
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Kubernetes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog or Prometheus (plus)
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash (plus)

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health using tools like Datadog and Prometheus
• Respond to alerts and execute runbooks, SOPs, and MOPs
• Triage incidents and escalate to engineering teams when needed
• Maintain and update operational documentation and runbooks
• Collaborate with SREs and Platform Engineers to improve monitoring and tools
