💼 About This Role

You'll architect test infrastructure for grid-tied converters at a startup building cutting-edge power electronics. You'll own the development lifecycle from design-reviews through test execution and root cause analysis. This role lets you build capability from scratch and have direct impact on the iteration pace of critical hardware.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute thermal and fluids testing from component level to full system validation
• Develop test plans and Design-of-Experiments with thermal and mechanical design teams
• Design fixtures, integrate test equipment (thermocouples, pressure sensors, flowmeters)
• Automate test execution, data logging, and post-processing workflows

📋 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with thermodynamics/fluids background
• 2+ years of industry or research lab experience with hands-on test fixture development
• Scripting in Python/Matlab and version control (GitHub/Bitbucket)
• Experience with DAQs, thermocouples, flow sensors, pressure sensors, anemometers

• Simulation and modeling in fluid network analysis, thermal/RC, CFD, CAD
• Reliability and statistical analysis
• Power electronics and high voltage testing experience
