💼 About This Role

You'll own product accounting for loans, credit cards, and cash advances at a fast-growing fintech. You'll rebuild accounting processes from the ground up and partner with Engineering, FP&A, and Capital Markets to ensure audit-ready books that scale with the company's growth. This is a hands-on IC role with high autonomy and direct impact.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Rebuild product accounting processes for loans, credit cards, and cash advances.
• Own end-to-end monthly and quarterly close across product accounting.
• Partner with Engineering, Data Infrastructure, and BI to design accounting into new products.
• Support audit and regulatory requirements with documentation and reconciliations.

📋 Requirements

• 7–10 years of accounting experience with fintech or financial services product accounting.
• Experience in both high-growth startup and public company environments.
• High autonomy: independently identify issues and execute without hand-holding.
• Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring a team (two direct reports from day one).

✨ Nice to Have

• CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
