Description

You will lead risk strategy and execution for our B2B offering in LATAM, starting with manual underwriting and transitioning to data-driven processes. You'll own the underwriting process, monitor portfolio performance, design scalable frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance risk appetite with business goals.

Requirements

• 7+ years in risk management, underwriting, or financial analysis with LATAM B2B market experience
• Hands-on manual underwriting of B2B/SMBs, including financial statement interpretation and creditworthiness evaluation
• Familiarity with LATAM local data sources, credit bureaus, and scoring models
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese a plus

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end underwriting for LATAM B2B customers, including eligibility, credit approvals, and exception handling
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Design and implement scalable, data-driven underwriting frameworks using local data sources and market best practices
• Collaborate with local GTM and global Risk, BizOps, and Data teams to align risk strategy with business goals
• Partner with Sales teams to enable responsible growth
