💼 About This Role

You'll partner with Data Scientists and analysts to drive business impact through rigorous analytical solutions at Stripe, the financial infrastructure platform. You'll apply machine learning and causal inference on large datasets to measure results, identify causal impact, and predict performance. This internship offers a dedicated mentor and a project that directly contributes to Stripe's mission.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with Data Scientists and business stakeholders to drive impact
• Apply machine learning, causal inference, or advanced analytics on large datasets
• Influence business actions through metrics and dashboards
• Drive collection of new data and refine existing data sources

📋 Requirements

• Enrolled in a quantitative PhD program (Data Science, Statistics, etc.) graduating winter 2026 or later
• Experience with scientific computing language (Python or R) and SQL
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in machine learning, statistics, optimization, or causal inference
• Experience communicating with multidisciplinary stakeholders in a team environment
