Description

You will provide engineering support for electrical distribution systems at SpaceX's Starlink production facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, designing upgrades, and overseeing installation of new assembly lines to support global internet connectivity and the mission of enabling life beyond Earth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline
• 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering and medium/high voltage power systems
• Experience with electrical and power distribution systems (600Vac)
• Knowledge of delta/wye transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, building lighting, facility grounding
• Experience with critical power infrastructure including UPS systems, backup generators, automatic transfer switches

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for design, operation, improvement, and troubleshooting of facility electrical systems
• Coordinate downtime activities between maintenance, construction, and production teams
• Drive electrical distribution improvement projects using design change requests and power monitoring data
• Troubleshoot electrical system problems, conduct breaker coordination and arc flash studies
• Oversee equipment installation, operation, and maintenance to meet specified parameters
