Description

You will own the product roadmap for Kentik's synthetic monitoring capabilities, working with engineering and design to deliver customer-driven solutions for monitoring modern web applications and networks. Your work will enable proactive performance and availability testing across distributed environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a technical role (network engineering, SRE, IT operations, or similar) at a technology company.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, telemetry, and the OSI stack.
• Familiarity with SaaS products, cloud infrastructure, and modern application architectures.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, or ThousandEyes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams and turn complex concepts into actionable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product roadmap for Synthetics, balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and business priorities.
• Independently prioritize features and enhancements in partnership with senior product leadership.
• Translate customer problems into clear product specifications and user stories for engineering.
• Work closely with engineers to define, build, and iterate on synthetic monitoring capabilities.
• Engage with customers and customer-facing teams to gather feedback and validate product decisions.
