Description

You will build and maintain the data platform powering internal AI use cases, creating secure and scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, AWS, and dbt. You'll implement governance frameworks and automate infrastructure to enable AI-powered decision-making at Okta.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience building pipelines and data models
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar, and AWS
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran, and Terraform
• Understanding of data governance and security controls
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain performant data pipelines and data models using Snowflake, AWS, and dbt
• Implement security and governance frameworks for high compliance and security standards
• Develop automated solutions for data classification, access control, and vulnerability management
• Use infrastructure as code (Terraform) and CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab) to deploy data infrastructure
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and analytics teams to deliver data solutions
