Description

In this role, you will manage export/import compliance for Planet's satellite and data operations, ensuring legal adherence while supporting global trade. You'll interface with engineering, supply chain, and sales teams to mitigate compliance risks and secure licenses.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in international trade compliance, legal, or contracting
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Self-motivated critical and strategic thinker
• Strong negotiation, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Experience in satellite or aerospace/defense industry

Responsibilities

• Prepare export/import authorization requests for international sales
• Manage full lifecycle of export/import authorizations and regulatory filings
• Conduct export/import training and provide compliance guidance
• Interface with U.S. government agencies on trade compliance
• Review international travel, foreign visits, and export/import transactions
