Description

You will design and build systems to dramatically increase scalability and performance, working on the deep backend of Airtable's software stack. You'll partner with product managers, designers, and data scientists to understand user needs and build features that unlock their potential.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience with modern systems development, ideally database internals development
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Rust
• Product-oriented backend role mindset, not pure Infrastructure
• Good understanding of modern web technologies and large-scale web application architecture
• Background in computer science or related field

Responsibilities

• Design and build systems that dramatically increase scalability and performance of applications on Airtable
• Work at the deep backend of Airtable's software stack within the Enterprise Product org
• Partner with product managers, designers, and data scientists to understand user needs and build products
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create innovative new features
• Own and execute end-to-end implementation of new features
