Description

You will take ownership of our evolving design system, turning foundational pieces into a mature, scalable toolkit that product teams love using. You'll audit the current system, build a prioritized roadmap, design and specify components, establish standards, champion accessibility, and collaborate closely with front-end engineers.

Requirements

• Experience owning or maintaining a design system at a product-driven company
• Strong understanding of design tokens, component libraries, and Figma component architecture
• Ability to design accessible interfaces following WCAG guidelines
• Collaborative communication skills to work cross-functionally with designers and engineers
• Familiarity with front-end implementation concepts to bridge design and code

Responsibilities

• Audit and evolve the existing design system, mapping tokens and components against product needs
• Design and specify new components and refine existing ones in Figma
• Establish clear documentation for usage, composition, layout, and accessibility
• Champion accessibility by baking compliance into every component and pattern
• Collaborate with front-end engineers to ensure design specs translate cleanly into code
