Description

As a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer on the Starlink program, you will solve challenges to improve utilization of deployed hardware, ensuring customers receive the best satellite internet experience. You will have full ownership of challenging problems, working with a team to design and produce solutions that enable SpaceX's mission at a rapid pace.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, or scientific discipline + 5 years software development, or 7+ years professional experience building software with SRE/DevOps
• Experience with Linux operating systems

Responsibilities

• Upgrade distributed systems to become sharded and geo-redundant in multiple data centers
• Advance deployment, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure for multi-region environment
• Manage petabyte scale bare metal compute clusters
• Collaborate with engineers to create highly operable, scalable, maintainable products
• Focus on performance bottlenecks and improvement techniques
