You'll lead the reliability, modernization, and optimization of large-scale enterprise data platforms in a fully remote environment, combining hands-on expertise with strategic leadership across hybrid infrastructures including mainframe, cloud, and on-premises systems. Your work will ensure the performance, scalability, and security of mission-critical databases while driving modernization and automation initiatives. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Administer and optimize enterprise databases across Db2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Lead database modernization and migration initiatives including cloud adoption.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, replication, and failover strategies.
• Perform advanced performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation solutions.

📋 Requirements

• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise database administration.
• Strong expertise with IBM mainframe technologies including z/OS, TSO/ISPF, JCL.
• Hands-on experience managing AWS database services such as RDS, Aurora, EC2.
• Advanced skills in database performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and high availability architecture.
