Description

As a Psychiatric Consultant at Colla Health, you will provide remote, part-time consultation to Behavioral Health Care Managers (BHCMs) on an assigned caseload of cancer patients. You'll advise on diagnoses, medications, and treatment adjustments to improve patient quality of life.

Requirements

• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Quickly synthesize medical and psychiatric data
• Experience in primary care or consultation-liaison psychiatry

Responsibilities

• Provide regular systematic caseload consultation to BHCMs
• Review patients not improving, new to caseload, or needing medication advice
• Use registry to track patient status and population health
• Recommend treatment adjustments including medications and brief therapies
• Deliver behavioral health education to the care team
