Description

As a Waste/UPW O&M Technician Intern, you'll support the operation and maintenance of critical water and wastewater systems in a semiconductor facility. You'll gain hands-on experience with UPW generation, distribution, and treatment, while working alongside experienced technicians in a safety-focused environment.

Requirements

• Enrolled in or recent completion of a technical program (mechanical, environmental, or related field)
• Mechanically inclined with strong interest in hands-on technical work
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems (pumps, piping, valves)
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
• Exposure to semiconductor or other mission-critical environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of UPW generation and distribution systems (RO, EDI, ion exchange, etc.)
• Assist in operating and monitoring wastewater treatment systems
• Perform routine rounds, record key parameters, and escalate abnormalities
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment
• Support water quality monitoring and sampling activities
