Description

In this unpaid position, you will provide companionship and support to hospice clients and their families in Windham County. Opportunities include patient visits, legacy projects, pet therapy, virtual projects, and office support.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate
• Criminal background check completed per state requirements
• Meet all state requirements for volunteers

Responsibilities

• Provide patient companionship, reading, life review, exercise
• Create legacy projects (arts, cooking, music, etc.)
• Assist with activities at senior living facilities
• Conduct virtual projects from home (singing, art, crafts)
• Support office projects and bereavement/vigil companionship
