Description
As an Enterprise Account Executive based in Tokyo, you will drive adoption of safe AI technology across Japan's financial services and insurance organizations, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You'll work with senior leaders to modernize operations, strengthen risk management, and enhance customer experiences with Anthropic's AI solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years enterprise sales experience in Japan with significant exposure to financial services and insurance
- Track record of managing complex, long-cycle sales processes and securing strategic deals with FSI organizations
- Ability to navigate FSI stakeholder ecosystems and build consensus across IT, risk, compliance, and business operations
- Proven experience exceeding revenue targets and managing pipeline across varying budget cycles
- Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English
Responsibilities
- Own and exceed revenue targets by winning new major FSI accounts and expanding existing relationships
- Build and execute territory plans, identifying high-value opportunities across banks, insurers, asset managers, and fintech companies
- Lead consultative sales processes with senior executives, positioning AI for digital transformation and regulatory compliance
- Orchestrate internal teams to deliver solutions meeting regulatory, security, and data governance requirements of the FSI sector
