Description

You will architect and design high-power AC and DC systems for EV chargers, collaborate on advanced converter development, and drive products from concept to production.

Requirements

• M.S. in electrical, computer, or electronics engineering (PhD desired)
• 8+ years bringing power electronics products to market
• Experience designing AC/DC and DC/DC conversion systems
• Ability to drive solutions across software, mechanical, power, and thermal boundaries
• Knowledge of industry standards for consumer and industrial products

Responsibilities

• Architect and design high-power AC/DC and DC/DC systems for EV chargers
• Design advanced soft-switching multi-level converters (40-100 kW, up to 2000 VDC)
• Design multi-level grid-tie inverters (100-200 kW, up to 2000 VDC) complying with EU/NA regulations
• Own product design: modeling, component selection, schematic, PCB layout, magnetics, thermal, DFM
• Model power designs using PLECS, MATLAB, Spice; implement with controllers, FPGAs, or DSPs
