Description

You will build, operate, and maintain custom test stands for electromechanical assemblies like actuators and motors. You'll troubleshoot systems, run tests, and collaborate with engineers to improve designs and processes for Starship flight hardware.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years professional hands-on manufacturing experience
• Ability to read electromechanical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Experience with instrumentation (strain gages, pressure transducers, etc.)
• Ability to fabricate electrical and high pressure plumbing systems

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Perform tests according to procedures and design requirements
• Summarize and distribute test data and results
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and document test procedures
• Assist in design of test fixtures, setups, and stands
