Description

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain utility-scale solar farms—not residential systems. This hands-on role involves working on ground-mount solar systems, central/string inverters, and power plant equipment, ensuring safe and timely operations. You'll also train junior technicians and enforce safety standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years utility-scale solar experience
• Experience with megawatt-scale PV systems
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Knowledge of OSHA/NFPA 70E safety standards
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and travel 100%

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair utility-scale solar systems including inverters, combiner boxes, and string circuits
• Perform testing: LOTO, IV curve tracing, megger/insulation testing, IR scans
• Assign work, track progress, and keep jobs on schedule
• Perform operations and maintenance on utility-scale solar plants
• Enforce safety requirements (OSHA, NFPA 70E) on-site
