💼 About This Role

You'll own the engine cycle model, validate test data, and develop new cycles from scratch. You'll collaborate daily with aerodynamic, structural, and mechanical designers to improve high-performance turbine engines and enable scalable manufacturing at a fast-paced defense startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Improve cycle model in NPSS and develop new cycle models
• Create analytical tools for basic performance analysis
• Develop test procedures to determine component performance
• Analyze test data with simulation tools

📋 Requirements

• BS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• 1+ years of experience using NPSS
• 1+ years of relevant professional experience
• Fundamental knowledge in engine design, aerodynamics, and thermodynamics

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency with Python
• Developed compression and/or turbine system maps
• Proficiency in NX for product design
