Description

You will be responsible for system design, analysis, testing, and integration of avionics for large, high-power satellites. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make architecture trades, design hardware, and manage avionics system implementation. You will serve as the Responsible Engineer for avionics interfacing, harnessing, instrumentation, RF components, and GNC actuators, and support high-rate production and launch cadence.

Requirements

• Experience in avionics system design and integration for spacecraft
• Ability to lead design trades and manage technical documentation
• Hands-on experience with testing and integration of flight hardware
• Proficiency in writing modular test and analysis software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Serve as Responsible Engineer for avionics system design, performance, and hardware across computing, power, instrumentation, RF, GNC sensors, and harnessing
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to capture requirements, lead design trades, and integrate design into spacecraft systems
• Create and update technical documentation including system diagrams, schematics, interface control documents, procedures, and test/anomaly reports
• Execute avionics component and system testing on flight hardware through development acceptance, qualification, and integration testing
• Support spacecraft integration testing, production issue dispositions, troubleshooting failures, and managing overall spacecraft risk
