💼 About This Role

You'll own checkout and payments analytics for OpenAI's financial infrastructure, driving revenue and user experience. You'll define key metrics and experiments to improve conversion and reduce churn across global payment methods. This role directly influences international scaling and monetization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own checkout analytics and experimentation across payment methods and locales
• Build and run experimentation program for in-house checkout with staged rollouts
• Create operational dashboards and source-of-truth data for team-level metrics
• Lead subscription and retention analytics to reduce involuntary churn

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in a quantitative role like data science or product analytics
• Fluency in SQL and Python with A/B testing experience
• Experience building product metrics from scratch and operationalizing them
• Excellent communication with cross-functional partners

✨ Nice to Have

• Payments, checkout, or subscription analytics experience
• Background in causal inference or offline incrementality methods
• Experience with international payments and FX
