Description

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at CircleCI, you'll serve as the customer's trusted technical advisor throughout the sales and retention lifecycle. You'll lead technical implementations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts, integrating with customer tech stacks to ensure early success. Collaborating with account executives and success managers, you'll identify customer business goals and show how CircleCI addresses them.

Requirements

• 5-10 years experience as an engineer in application development, DevOps, or CI/CD
• Extensive experience in solutions selling in a technical customer-facing role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, etc.) in SaaS or software development
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD concepts, DevOps practices, software configuration, and scripting languages like Python or Shell
• Knowledge of Docker or Linux containers
• Outstanding presentation skills for leading demos to both technical and non-technical groups

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementation and day-to-day management of CircleCI demonstrations and proof-of-concepts
• Serve as technical advisor and subject matter expert for customers on product implementation, adoption, and best practices
• Conduct in-depth analysis of customer use cases to identify optimization opportunities and provide feedback for product improvements
• Support strategic planning conversations with customer executives, connecting software delivery challenges with corporate objectives
• Develop and deliver technical training sessions, workshops, and documentation to empower customers to maximize product value
