Description

You will lead a team of security engineers to set security standards for open source software across the Ubuntu platform, ensuring compliance with FIPS, CIS, STIG, and FedRAMP. You'll manage talent, drive engineering practices, and collaborate with industry partners to protect millions of users worldwide.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM
• Experience with FIPS/Common Criteria certified products and knowledge of underlying standards
• Experience with DISA-STIG or CIS benchmarks and related audit + remediation tooling
• Solid experience in agile development environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers through coaching, mentoring, and career development
• Implement disciplined engineering processes and measure team health
• Represent team to stakeholders, partners, and customers
• Support products to meet security requirements like FIPS, CIS, STIG, FedRAMP, CRA
• Drive system hardening and cryptographic module certification with industry partners
