You'll drive the financial and people strategy for a national nonprofit advancing sexual and reproductive well-being. You'll ensure resources align with mission, manage a team of five, and serve as the primary liaison to the Board's Finance & Audit Committee. This role combines financial oversight and people operations to create an equitable, high-performing organization.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Manage team of five, including direct supervision of key roles.
- Oversee People Culture: culture, roles, development, performance, compensation, compliance.
- Manage all financial activities: policies, controls, budgeting, audits, revenue recognition.
- Supervise month-end closing, review expense reports, credit card, reconciliations.
๐ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10-15 years experience as CFO, finance director, or controller in nonprofit
- 7 years supervisory experience
- GAAP expertise including revenue recognition, grant accounting, 501(c)(3) compliance
