You'll develop device software and firmware for Lightmatter's photonic AI processors and interconnects, collaborating with hardware and software teams to define control plane architecture and integrate with data center administration capabilities. You'll debug embedded systems using tools like GDB and JTAG, and participate in customer engagements to gather requirements. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Collaborate to define control plane architecture for photonic interconnect products
• Define diagnostics and monitoring architecture for photonic transceivers
• Integrate with DataCenter administration using CMIS, OpenBMC, DMTF
• Debug embedded systems with GDB, JTAG, logic analyzers
• Participate in customer engagements for requirements gathering

📋 Requirements

• BS and 8+ years or MS and 6+ years in CS, EE, Robotics, or related field
• Industry experience with device driver and kernel side development
• Strong understanding of hardware-software integration
• Experience developing commercial/enterprise software and firmware on Linux

• Proficiency with Python or C++
• Experience with CMIS, OpenBMC, DMTF
• Experience with optical communication systems and technologies
