Description

As a DSP with BAYADA Home Health Care, you'll provide 1:1 support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You'll assist with daily living tasks, accompany clients on errands and activities, and help them reach their full potential.

Requirements

• One year experience working or volunteering with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, hygiene)
• Assist with daily living tasks (cooking, cleaning)
• Accompany clients on errands, appointments, and community integration activities
• Spend time on client's favorite hobbies
