Description

As an Electrical Engineer on the Surgery Robot Hardware Team, you will design, verify, and oversee the transition to production of custom electronics systems for surgical robotics. You'll have substantial autonomy to own creative decisions and execute impactful projects like robotics stage designs, motor drives, and custom cameras.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Professional experience in all phases of electronics design
• Depth in power electronics, FPGA hardware design, or manufacturing automation
• Practical electronics design knowledge (EMC, ESD, thermals, packaging)

Responsibilities

• Design, verify, and oversee production transition of custom electronics systems
• Own creative decisions and execute on new projects like robotics stage designs, motor drives, custom cameras, and manufacturing automation
• Develop firmware for custom electronics
• Perform full lifecycle testing for devices
• Manufacture devices for use in human surgeries
