Description

You will own signal and power integrity for Starlink satellite hardware throughout the entire lifecycle, from early design through production. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll define simulation and verification processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive innovation in high-speed digital and power delivery systems for the world's largest satellite constellation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics
• 5+ years of industry experience designing circuits, electronic products, or hardware
• 2+ years of experience using 3D EM simulation tools and high-speed digital channel simulators (CST, HFSS, ADS etc.)
• 2+ years of experience with high-speed digital design or power integrity
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, simulate, verify, qualify, and troubleshoot SI/PI aspects of advanced satellite hardware including wireline/electro-optical systems (10-112+ Gbps SERDES) and high-speed memory interfaces (DDR4, LPDDR5, etc.)
• Design and optimize power delivery networks for complex ASICs and processors
• Work with RF, antenna, ASIC, packaging, mechanical, thermal, software, supply chain, and production engineers to architect new products
• Derive top-level specifications for PCB materials and channel subcomponents, and design transition structures from die bump to die bump
• Define best practices, simulation workflows, test methodologies, signoff criteria, and lab equipment for all SI/PI needs on Starlink satellite payloads
