Description

You will work on one of three areas: Onboard Systems, Performance, or Devices Platform, providing a reliable and high-performance platform for autonomy software. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and reliable integration of software and hardware, optimize performance, and build foundational onboard software for sensor and compute platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years relevant industry experience plus Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in CS, EE, CE, Robotics, or related field
• Strong C++ skills
• Experience in large-scale distributed systems, computer architecture, or operating systems
• Experience with profiling and tracing tools (perf, eBPF, Perfetto, pprof, NVIDIA Nsight Systems/Compute)
• Experience with robotics software frameworks or hardware components

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable and high-performance platform for autonomy software integration across self-driving platforms
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems/safety teams to ensure safe and reliable integration
• Optimize AV software performance through latency reduction and resource efficiency
• Build systems and tools for continuous performance analysis
• Develop hardware-agnostic platform for sensor and compute hardware, including device drivers and APIs
