💼 About This Role

You'll join MineSense's Engineering team in Vancouver, BC, working on solutions that reduce mining waste and improve sustainability. You'll support the development and testing of components for new products and enhancements, reporting to the Team Lead - Controls. This role offers the chance to make a real impact in the mining industry.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop PLC programs and HMI interfaces.
• Specify and test hardware and software systems.
• Calibrate and test sensors and subsystems.
• Integrate and commission systems on-site or remotely.
• Configure network devices and communication protocols.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Control Systems engineering.
• 2-4+ years of experience as an electrical/electronics or controls engineer.
• Experience with PLC or embedded system programming.
• Familiarity with Ethernet networking and industrial communication protocols.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting control panels and PCB design.

• Experience with CODESYS.
• Experience in automotive, mobile power equipment, or harsh environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
