Description

Work under experienced Biostatisticians on theoretical or applied problems directly relevant to ongoing clinical drug development research in Oncology. Implement new methodological developments using SAS or R and conduct simulation studies, culminating in a department-wide presentation and written report.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a full-time graduate program with at least two full years of graduate coursework completed
• Strong programming skills in SAS or R
• Solid background in survival analysis
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work on theoretical or applied problems in biostatistics with relevance to oncology clinical trials
• Implement new methodological developments using SAS or R
• Conduct simulation studies as needed
• Give a department-wide presentation on research topic
• Prepare a final written report
