Manager, Startups Account Executives - Existing Business

Description

You will lead a team of Account Executives to grow Stripe's Startup customers in North America, driving upsell/cross-sell revenue and retention while building relationships up to C-level. You'll shape the team strategy, coach your team, and collaborate cross-functionally to align products with customer needs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years relevant experience, including 2+ years in people management
  • Experience leading sales or account management in early-stage, high-growth tech
  • Proven track record in new business sales or existing customer upselling
  • Ability to hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts in business terms

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and build a team of Existing Business sellers
  • Develop long-term vision and strategy with senior leadership, manage day-to-day operations
  • Increase upsell/cross-sell revenue and drive positive renewal outcomes for Startups and SMBs
  • Build and maintain enduring customer relationships up to C-level
  • Coach team in consultative and solution-based skills through the sales cycle
