💼 About This Role

You'll define the technical direction of our Java stack and backend platforms, enabling product teams to ship features reliably and performantly. You'll design and implement key components, review critical code paths, and guide engineers through complex decisions. This role offers the opportunity to scale impact across a rapidly growing global payments platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set technical vision for Java application framework stack
• Design and build core platform components in Java
• Champion best practices and review RFCs for code deployment
• Mentor engineers and foster continuous improvement culture

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years building large-scale backend systems with Java
• Deep proficiency in AWS cloud-native architectures (EKS, ECS, Lambda, etc.)
• Hands-on containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC (Terraform/CDK)

✨ Nice to Have

• Golang professional experience
• Familiarity with observability stacks and security fundamentals
• Experience creating reusable SDKs or internal developer platforms
