💼 About This Role

You'll build chemistry-specific AI patent solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. You'll work directly with in-house patent counsel to prototype high-value proofs of concept. This role bridges product development, engineering, and IP protection.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with product and engineering to develop AI tools for small molecule patents
• Embed with pharma/biotech customers to deploy chemistry patent workflows
• Translate complex patent chemistry challenges into product requirements
• Run technical sessions to ensure products deliver value for chemistry patent portfolios

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in chemical patent prosecution or pharmaceutical IP
• Strong grasp of organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry principles
• Builder's mindset with ability to iterate quickly on prototypes
• Extreme ownership and accountability for outcomes

• Experience at patent law firms handling pharmaceutical/biotech clients
• In-house patent counsel experience at pharma/biotech companies
• Chemistry PhD combined with patent training
