You'll join the FlexOlmo team at Ai2 to build next-generation large language models with a focus on Mixture-of-Experts and long-context architectures. You'll bridge cutting-edge research and production, optimizing training and inference, and releasing open-source tools to the community. This small, tight-knit team offers direct impact on high-profile open AI models and strong publication support.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build infrastructure for LLM research on flexible data use.
• Optimize training and inference for language models.
• Triage experiments and execute on the most impactful.
• Bring software engineering best practices to research.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/ML/NLP or related field.
• 4+ years building ML infrastructure for training and deployment.
• Experience with Python and PyTorch/JAX/TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with cloud compute (AWS) and containerization (Docker).
