Description

Join Guidepost Montessori as an on-call Substitute Teacher to support mixed-age Montessori classrooms (ages 0–6) when full-time teachers are unavailable. You'll help maintain a calm, engaging environment and assist with daily routines, with potential to transition into a full-time Assistant Teacher role.

Requirements

Negative TB test within the last 12 months
Valid state background check
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor
Passion for working with young children

Responsibilities

Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency
Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups
Help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children
Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care
Model patience, professionalism, and kindness in every interaction
