💼 About This Role

You'll push the capabilities of Formlabs' SLA and SLS 3D printing platforms by optimizing the intersection of hardware, software, and materials. Your core impact will be designing efficient experiments that tease out underlying behavior in a complex system and commercializing solutions that improve customer print performance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect 3D printing optimization methodologies for better printer performance
• Drive root cause analysis across mechanics, fluid dynamics, software, and more
• Design efficient experiments to tease out behavior in complex systems
• Tackle multi-disciplinary problems and develop commercial solutions

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years post-graduate experience
• Experience in test design where results impact product performance
• Shipped a product or process to end users
• B.S., M.S., or PhD in any science/engineering discipline

✨ Nice to Have

• Coding experience, ideally Python
• Experienced in computer-aided design (CAD)
• Understand material properties and characterization
