Description

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for system, software, airborne electronic hardware, and cybersecurity design assurance processes. You'll support certification with authorities, oversee supplier developments, and contribute to process improvements for Archer's eVTOL aircraft.

Requirements

• 15+ years experience in System/Software/AEH Design Assurance for aerospace
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• Experience with ARP4754A/B, ARP4761, DO-254, DO-178C
• Experience with multiple systems and software/AEH environments and tools
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for System, Software, AEH, and Cybersecurity Design Assurance
• Review and approve Software/AEH life-cycle data as company DER
• Execute System Design Assurance Reviews for ARP4754A compliance
• Perform Supplier Oversight and Design Assurance Reviews
• Interface with FAA DERs and Certification Authorities
