💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team building the core control plane, data plane, and connectors for Snowflake's data integration platform. You'll drive reliability, mentor engineers, and partner with product to deliver impactful features. This role offers the chance to shape Snowflake's open and extensible ecosystem.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers building the control plane, data plane, and connectors.
• Translate product strategy into an executable engineering roadmap.
• Own your area in production: reliability, performance, and incident response.
• Mentor and develop engineers across IC1–IC4 levels.

📋 Requirements

• Proven experience managing a team of >10 engineers delivering backend or data infrastructure.
• Strong technical background in distributed systems or data platforms.
• Track record of mentoring engineers across junior and senior levels.
• Experience hiring and closing strong engineering talent.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in data integration, streaming, or workflow systems (e.g., NiFi, Kafka, Flink, Airflow).
• Prior experience as a Staff/Principal-level engineer.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or cloud data platforms.
