Description

You will own payments intelligence end-to-end, designing measurement frameworks and building predictive models to improve payment success rates and risk scoring. Partner with engineering and product teams to drive experimentation and influence roadmap decisions with data-backed recommendations.

Requirements

• 10+ years in Data Science at a product-focused software company with payments exposure
• Deep payments domain knowledge: ACH, card networks, bank integrations, settlement flows
• Strong SQL and Python skills for large-scale transactional datasets
• Proven experimentation and causal inference expertise in payment contexts
• AI-native mindset: has built data products and automated workflows with AI

Responsibilities

• Own payments intelligence end-to-end: design measurement frameworks for payment success rates, failure root causes, retry strategies, settlement timing
• Partner with payments engineering to understand infrastructure constraints and influence roadmap prioritization
• Drive experimentation at scale: design and analyze A/B tests and quasi-experiments across payment flows
• Build predictive models for payment failure prediction, risk scoring, anomaly detection, and productionize them with ML engineers
• Build AI-native data products and automated workflows with AI as core component
