💼 About This Role

You'll own substrate-level assembly processes for a new class of optical compute hardware, driving from prototype to production. You'll act as the engineering interface with contract manufacturers to ensure scalable, high-yield manufacturing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and own assembly processes for electro-mechanical and opto-electronic modules
• Drive DFM/DFA reviews with engineering teams
• Develop tooling, fixtures, and jigs for precision assembly
• Monitor production quality and lead root cause analysis

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in manufacturing or assembly engineering in complex hardware
• Hands-on experience with flip-chip bonding and substrate-level assembly
• DFM/DFA principles and translating designs into manufacturing processes
• Documentation creation: work instructions, SOPs, process flows

• Experience with photonics integration and optical alignment
• Knowledge of ESD controls and cleanliness protocols
