You'll join a mission-driven company building cloud services that give users access to rich energy monitoring data and controls from SPAN products. You'll lead design and implementation of systems integrating hardware, mobile apps, dashboards, and external APIs while collaborating across firmware, frontend, and backend teams. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop new features in the SPAN Cloud for diverse end users
• Work cross-functionally with product, design, firmware, and frontend teams
• Build APIs and data specifications for internal and external clients
• Mentor team members and maintain services over time

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong JVM expertise with performance tuning and memory management
• Deep experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Experience with cloud-native platforms like AWS

✨ Nice to Have

• IoT product experience
• gRPC or GraphQL API experience
• Infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Terraform)
