Description

You will own the thermal design and analysis of drones, aircraft, or missiles, using first principles and FEA/CFD models to ensure performance in demanding environments. You'll work across disciplines, define test limits, and present status to customers.

Requirements

• MS or higher in engineering/applied physics focusing on heat transfer and fluid dynamics
• 5+ years designing thermal systems for integrated hardware products
• Experience with passive/active thermal management systems
• Thermal FEA experience (STAR-CCM+, ANSYS, Icepak, or Flotherm)
• CAD experience with SolidWorks or Siemens NX

Responsibilities

• Own thermal design and analysis of drones, aircraft, or missiles
• Execute hand calculations, MATLAB/Python models for thermal architecture
• Define hot/cold edge cases and thermal design limits
• Own thermal FEA/CFD models and predict system performance
• Define and execute prototype tests, post-process data, present results
