💼 About This Role

You'll provide world-class instruction in math to middle and high school students in the Lansing School District. You'll build inclusive, nurturing classrooms where students can collaborate towards common learning goals. This is a half-time position split between Everett High School and the Newcomer Center.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Plan and deliver algebra, geometry, and other secondary math lessons.
• Use data to differentiate instruction and assess student progress.
• Build relationships with students and parents to foster a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or math.
• Experience working with middle and high school students.
• Alignment with Lansing School District's mission and values.

✨ Nice to Have

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with secondary math endorsement (EQ/EX).
• Previous teaching experience in an urban setting.
• Training in CRPBIS, Go Math, or related methodologies.
