💼 About This Role

You'll architect and build the core LLM intelligence layer for Pearl's value-based care platform, defining advanced AI architecture like RAG and Agentic systems. Your work will directly empower primary care providers to succeed in value-based care through scalable, reliable technology. This role offers high-leverage impact across a full product suite in a mission-driven healthcare company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and build foundational LLM architecture (RAG, Agents, Vector DBs)
• Design and deliver high-performance distributed systems and data pipelines
• Drive Proof-of-Concepts for new AI technologies and evaluate viability
• Mentor engineers and define engineering standards and best practices

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in large-scale software engineering
• Experience designing observable, scalable distributed systems with microservices and event-driven architecture
• Hands-on experience with RAG architectures and Agentic workflows
• Cloud platform proficiency (preferably AWS)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building user-facing applications with React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Experience in healthcare technology or regulated industries (HIPAA, SOC2)
